The Department of Economics offers students a balanced education in economic theory, policy and application. The curriculum consists of three core parts. First,"courses in economics" provide a solid foundation in basic economic theory and thought. Second, "seminars on economics" offer a small interpersonal learning environment for students of every grade. Third, "courses in career development" are designed to raise student awareness of the realities of the job market and to allow them to successfully plan their futures.
