Research activities
  1. Neuromuscular control by the Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)
    • Respiratory Pacemaker (Med.& Biol. Eng. & Compt. , Vol.14, pp387-394 & pp395-401, 1976)
    • Restoration of the hand function of the quadriplegics (IEEE Trans. BME, Vol.36, pp754-760, 1989)
    • Development of the flexible percutaneous electrode for the clinical application of the FES system
      (e. g. IEEE Tr.BME, Vol.36, pp705-710 (1989).
  2. A new Voltage-Clamp Method by numerical feedback performed by a high-speed microprocessor (IEEE Trans. BME, Vol.30, pp103-109 (1983).
  3. Development of a new Low-Frequency Noise Measurement System and its application to the characterization of the low-frequency noises of the metal electrode for biological use (e.g. IEEE Trans. Instrum. & Measure., Vol.IM-31, pp255-261 (1982)).
  4. Self-organizing neural network studies which were focused on the recognition and discrimination of the time-series information. (e.g. several papers in IECE, Japan).
