Five diverse approaches to transform your interests and passions into high-level expertise.

Building upon the tradition of elementary school teachers inherited from the Faculty Faculty of Letters Department of Education, we have established five specialized courses that allow students to acquire teaching licenses for junior and senior high schools (Japanese language, science, and English), and to aim to become educators who can contribute to society beyond the confines of schools. We will guide you to become an educator who can take a fresh approach to the diverse educational needs of modern society by equipping you with rich qualities and abilities that transcend the boundaries of humanities and sciences, as well as high levels of expertise in your respective field.

  • Child education
    course

    From school and classroom management to understanding children's inner lives and development, we broadly study child education.

    This course is primarily for those aiming to become elementary school teachers. In addition to developing solid subject-specific teaching skills, students will systematically learn the fundamentals of school and classroom management that allows children to feel secure and move towards independence, deeply understand the inner lives and development of each child from their perspective, and practice education that is attentive to individual differences.
