Studying at the Faculty of Economics
The Faculty of Economics offers a wide variety of lectures, from introductory to advanced levels, from theory to applied economics, and from local to global perspectives which allows students to acquire the ability to analyze and understand contemporary economic issues in-depth. Using this knowledge, students are able to propose appropriate policy responses to today’s economic challenges.
Overview of the Faculty of Economics
At the Faculty of Economics, students have the opportunity to study a variety of economic topics in-depth due to our large faculty who have conducted research in a wide variety of areas. Our graduates who have chosen careers in the private sector, government, education, and a variety of other professions, have contributed to the economic and social development of Japan and the Tohoku region.
