Characteristics

In response to the expansion of unified education from primary school through middle school and from middle school through high school, students can gain teachers’ licenses of three types for primary school, middle school, and high school (English only). The Department of Education develops educators with practical leadership qualities in both learning and student guidance to address students with individuality who have grown up in diverse living environments.

In accordance with the introduction of English as a subject in primary schools in 2020, the Department of Education trains primary school teachers who can confidently teach all subjects and areas of primary school, including English.

Students develop multifaceted and multisided leadership qualities capable of meeting modern educational challenges, including safety and disaster prevention education and other issues in the community, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), and the introduction of Proactive, Interactive and Authentic Learning (active learning).

To provide small-class education, the number of students of each academic year is limited to 70.
