Universities with which international exchange agreements have been concluded
Our university provides opportunities for students to directly experience different cultures and cultivate a global perspective and proactive communication skills. Currently, we have international educational exchange agreements with 49 universities in 16 countries and regions, and exchange programs and academic exchanges are conducted.
In particular, Ursinus College and Franklin & Marshall College in the United States are Christian universities like ours, and as partner institutions with the same founding roots, we have had a long history of mutual exchange between students and faculty.

Founded in 1869 by members of the Reformed Church, Ursinus College is a private liberal arts university located in Collegeville, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It has approximately 1,500 students and popular majors include biology, business economics, and English.
Franklin & Marshall University
Franklin & Marshall College
Founded in 1787, this private university, rooted in the Reformed tradition, is located in Lancaster, in south-central Pennsylvania. Approximately 2,400 students study in over 60 fields of study. Many of the missionaries who contributed to the university's education, including its founders, E.W. Hoy and D.B. Schneider, are alumni.

Founded in 1825, this Graduate Schools university has a campus adjacent to Franklin & Marshall College. It offers Master of Theology, Master of Religious Studies, and Doctor of Pastoral Science programs, and is a prestigious seminary that has produced many theologians. It is the alma mater of W.E. Hoy and D.B. Schneider, two of the three founders of Tohoku Gakuin University, and has a deep historical connection with our university.

This liberal arts college, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1742. It merged with Lancaster Theological Seminary in 2021, with which it has close ties.
