Admission Requirements

Master's course
(Master's course)
General Selection Those who have graduated from university, those who are expected to graduate, or those who are recognized as having equivalent or higher academic ability.
Special selection for working adults Applicants must possess the above qualifications, be employed as a regular employee in a company, government office, etc., and be able to enroll while still employed. Applicants must also have at least three years of work experience (including homemakers) after graduating from university.
Special Selection Applicants must be enrolled at Tohoku Gakuin University, be expected to graduate in the current academic year (graduates are also eligible for some majors), and meet the criteria set by their major.
Doctoral course General Selection Applicants must hold a master's degree or a professional degree, or be recognized as having equivalent or higher academic ability. Furthermore, if you have at least two years of research experience at a university or research institute after graduating from an undergraduate program, you may be eligible to enroll in a doctoral program even without completing a master's program.
Special selection for working adults Applicants must possess the above qualifications and have at least three years of work experience (including homemakers).

Special Selection Selection will be based on a comprehensive evaluation of academic transcripts, application documents, and interviews/oral examinations.
Doctoral course General Selection
Graduate School of Letters
Specialized subjects, foreign language subjects (first foreign language subject, second foreign language subject), and interview/oral examination.
Graduate School of Economics, Graduate School of Law
Foreign language subjects and interview/oral examination
Graduate School of Law (for those holding a Juris Doctor degree), Graduate School of Human Informatics
