Entrance examination dates and venues

Admission Requirements

Master's course (Master's course)	General Selection	Those who have graduated from university, those who are expected to graduate, or those who are recognized as having equivalent or higher academic ability.
	Special selection for working adults	Applicants must possess the above qualifications, be employed as a regular employee in a company, government office, etc., and be able to enroll while still employed. Applicants must also have at least three years of work experience (including homemakers) after graduating from university.
	Special Selection	Applicants must be enrolled at Tohoku Gakuin University, be expected to graduate in the current academic year (graduates are also eligible for some majors), and meet the criteria set by their major.
Doctoral course	General Selection	Applicants must hold a master's degree or a professional degree, or be recognized as having equivalent or higher academic ability. Furthermore, if you have at least two years of research experience at a university or research institute after graduating from an undergraduate program, you may be eligible to enroll in a doctoral program even without completing a master's program.
Doctoral course	Special selection for working adults	Applicants must possess the above qualifications and have at least three years of work experience (including homemakers).

Selection Method

Master's course (Master's course)	General Selection	Specialized subjects, foreign language subjects, and interview/oral examination.
	Special selection for working adults	The selection process will consist of a comprehensive review of submitted documents and an interview/oral examination.
	Special Selection	Selection will be based on a comprehensive evaluation of academic transcripts, application documents, and interviews/oral examinations.
Doctoral course	General Selection	Graduate School of Letters Specialized subjects, foreign language subjects (first foreign language subject, second foreign language subject), and interview/oral examination. Graduate School of Economics, Graduate School of Law Foreign language subjects and interview/oral examination Graduate School of Law (for those holding a Juris Doctor degree), Graduate School of Human Informatics Specialized subjects, foreign language subjects, and interview/oral examination Graduate School of Engineering English, essay, and interview/oral examination
Doctoral course	Special selection for working adults	Graduate School of Letters, Graduate School of Law, Graduate School of Engineering, Graduate School of Human Informatics The selection process involves a comprehensive review of submitted documents, as well as interviews and oral examinations. However, applicants whose applications are approved based on their research experience will be required to take specialized subjects. Graduate School of Economics The selection process involves a comprehensive assessment of foreign language subjects, document review, interviews, and oral examinations.
