Faculty of Economics aims to cultivate individuals who can understand how people, businesses, and governments make decisions in the economic and social spheres, and the impact those choices have on society, enabling them to solve increasingly diverse social challenges.

Through lectures and exercises, students will learn how to propose hypotheses using theoretical analysis, and how to verify them using data and fieldwork, tackling various economic issues. Through this learning, they will develop the ability to analyze the current state of the Japanese and Tohoku economies, understand their mechanisms, predict future economic trends, and propose policies.
