To gain a deeper understanding of the human mind, we must not only focus on the mind itself, but also on the body, which is intimately connected to the mind, and the society created by the connections between people with minds. The importance of psychology and behavioral science in managing mental and physical health has become even more recognized in the wake of the recent series of earthquakes and heavy rain disasters, as well as the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. At our faculty, students will comprehensively study the fundamentals, applications, and clinical aspects of psychology, as well as related fields such as sports science and sociology.

Eligibility requirements for the Certified Clinical Psychologist examination and teaching licenses (health and physical education) are also available.

This department includes subjects necessary to qualify for the Certified Clinical Psychologist examination. *In addition to Certified Clinical Psychologist and Social Researcher qualifications, it is also possible to obtain a Type 1 teaching license for health and physical education (junior and senior high school).
