"Eigo Relax" is a place that supports your English learning.
- I'd like you to explain the parts of the lesson I don't understand.
- I want to review middle and high school English.
- I want to know how university students study English.
- I want to know how to study for external certification exams.
- I want to practice speaking English.
Faculty members from the Center for Liberal Arts Education will answer your questions on topics such as these.
Opening Hours
Location: General Education Center, 3rd Floor, Lecture Building, Itsutsubashi Campus
- English Lounge is available to everyone, regardless of their English level.
- Priority will be given to those who make reservations in advance!
- If you wish to use our services, please be sure to read "How to Use and Make a Reservation" first.

How to use and make a reservation
- The online "English Lounge" sessions are 15 minutes long.
- If you wish to use the service, please make a reservation according to the manual below (Steps 1, 2, 3).
- Reservations are limited to one time slot per person. Please make a new reservation after your current reservation is full.
Step 1: Specify a time slot using Google Calendar
- Please access Google Calendar using the button below.
Step 2: Enter the required information
- Please enter the following information (①-⑤) in the "Description" section.
① Name, ② Student ID number, ③ In-person or online, ④ Date and time of reservation, ⑤ Grade of English I & II (a, b, c, d, e, f), ⑥ Topic of consultation (Please select from the following: English conversation, Review of junior high/high school English, TOEIC, TOEFL, Eiken, Other (Please specify the topic))
Step 3: Check your Gmail and click "Yes".
- You will receive an invitation email in your Gmail. Please check the contents of the email and click "Yes" when prompted with "Do you want to join?".
- Your reservation is now complete.
- For in-person sessions, please go to the General Education Center (3rd floor, Lecture Building, Itsutsubashi Campus) at your scheduled time. For online sessions, please access the Google Meet address provided in your reservation invitation email.
Regarding cancellations
- If you do not arrive within 5 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, or if you do not join the Google Meet meeting, your appointment will be automatically canceled.
- If you repeatedly cancel appointments without notice, you may be prevented from making future reservations.

When asking questions about study methods for external certification exams, please prepare the score sheet for the exam you are asking about, or (if you have not taken the exam before) the official practice questions you have completed and checked your answers.
Teachers will provide advice tailored to your strengths and weaknesses.
