Modern society benefits greatly from rapidly evolving AI and digital technologies, but it also faces the risk of losing its humanity. With smartphones easily engrossing our attention, and social media and search engines constantly delivering information tailored to our preferences, we live in an era where convenience comes at the cost of losing "time to think." In such times, formulating questions from the perspective of "mind and behavior" and thinking scientifically provides an opportunity to decipher complex realities and cultivate the ability to tackle future challenges. "Mind and behavior" are deeply connected to the "body" that governs them, and the "society" that surrounds people. In Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, in addition to studying psychology, we also learn about "body" and "society" from the perspectives of sports science and sociology. University learning is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but also training in thinking for oneself and discerning the essence of things. Let's work together to develop the "intellectual power (intellectual strength and resilience)" needed to envision a better future!
