Philosophy/purpose
To develop individuals who are equipped with the ability to understand human beings from multiple perspectives and empirically in order to realistically address the various problems facing human life, and who pursue healthy ways of living.
Educational goals
- Possess a deep understanding and knowledge of human behavior, its psychological processes, and the factors that determine them.
- Possess the thinking ability and skills to empirically analyze human behavior.
- Students will be able to proactively utilize their own knowledge, skills, and motivation to identify and solve problems in real-life situations.

Desired student profile
- Academic ability in Japanese, English, and mathematics has reached a level appropriate for studying in Faculty of Human Sciences.
- They have the basic thinking skills to analyze things logically and empirically, and the attitude to express the content accurately in their own words.
- They have an interest in people and a desire and attitude to explore their unknown aspects.
