Philosophy/purpose

Based on Christian principles and a broad liberal arts education, Department of Regional Community Studies and Department of Policy Design cultivate individuals with a global perspective who can create better communities.

Educational goals

• Cultivating the ability to think deeply about the question, "What constitutes a better community?"
• To realize a "better community," we need to cultivate the ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• To cultivate the ability to analyze and understand the realities of a local community and to proactively solve local problems.
