Faculty of Faculty of Regional Studies Guide

Faculty characteristics

Learn from the "Forest of Knowledge,"
Connected in the "Forest of People",
We will nurture the future of our local community with its blessings.

The local community is the "field" where we live. There are many diverse and complex issues there, and resolving them requires the ability to study multiple academic fields and understand things comprehensively. At Faculty of Regional Studies of Regional Studies (FoReSt), students can study geography, earth sciences, ecology, sociology, social welfare, education, economics, business administration, political science, cultural anthropology, and more, and the breadth of academic fields makes it truly worthy of being called a "forest of knowledge."

The learning environment extends beyond the campus: diverse fieldwork.

Our learning environment extends beyond the classroom; through fieldwork (on-site research), we connect with diverse people in the community, brainstorm solutions together, and collaborate to create a better community for all.
