Department of International Studies is deeply committed to learning, understanding, and expressing oneself through language. First, students intensively study one of three languages—English, Chinese, or Korean—to develop practical proficiency. In parallel with this learning, specialized education is provided in three areas: "Language and Multicultural Coexistence," "East Asian Studies," and "Global Studies," allowing students to acquire not only language skills but also a diverse range of general knowledge. Furthermore, from the third year onward, many courses are offered in English.

Above all, the diversity of our faculty is a strength of this department. Five of our 14 faculty members are foreign nationals, the gender ratio is almost equal, and many hold doctoral degrees from universities both domestically and internationally, possessing a wide range of expertise and professional experience.
