Research topic

My research focuses on English and American literature from the first half of the 20th century onward, specifically on the theme of "vulnerability." I examine how "vulnerability," which was once considered something to be overcome in ideologies that emphasized individual independence and autonomy, has become a major theme in modern literature, giving rise to positive narratives of interaction and response with others.
