Teacher Profiles
HOSHINO, Masaki Associate Professor
| Specialty | Analysis of solutions and behavior of differential equations |
|---|---|
| Subjects Taught | Information Science Seminar (3rd year), Integrated Research (4th year) |
■Research Themes
Differential equations and related topics and applications
■Information science seminar (3rd year)
In the Information Science Exercises, we will select topics from differential equations, variational calculus, Fourier analysis, vector analysis, complex function theory, differential geometry, and more to teach you the fundamentals. During this process, you will be asked to read the textbook and present your findings as part of the learning process.
■ Comprehensive Research (4th year students)
Building upon what you learned in the Information Science Seminar, you will delve deeper into the mathematical aspects and research their applications. For the applications, you will be asked to find a research topic that interests you. For example, you might investigate how various phenomena can be described by differential equations and conduct research on that topic.
