■Research Themes
- Android app development environment setup and development methods
- Software development to support problem solving
■Information science seminar (3rd year)
The theme of this exercise is "Android Smartphone App Development." You will learn how to set up an environment for Android smartphone app development and learn basic operations to efficiently develop apps using this environment. App development will use the Java language, but we will only use the basic syntax of Java and learn many commonly used app features as design patterns (source code that can be reused later).
In the later stages of the course, students will learn to develop practical applications based on their own designs, using combinations of design patterns as a foundation.
■ Comprehensive Research (4th year students)
The theme here is "Information Technology and Society." In particular, we will examine the realization and effects of information technology that supports human social activities from the perspectives of information science and software development. We will develop an actual smartphone application and evaluate and analyze its ease of use and usage patterns.
