Faculty Introduction

Teacher Profiles

IWATA, Yukiko Associate Professor
Specialty Ergodic theory and random dynamical systems
Subjects Taught Information Science Seminar (3rd year), Integrated Research (4th year)
■Research Themes

Research on stochastic processes generated from ergodic dynamical systems

■Information science seminar (3rd year)

In the Information Science Exercises, you will learn the fundamentals of analysis step by step, covering set theory, topology, measure theory, functional analysis, and probability theory. During this process, you will be expected to create your own presentation notes and present what you have read on the blackboard.

■ Comprehensive Research (4th year students)

In the Information Science Exercises, we plan to have you choose and study more specialized topics in analysis. For example, you will create a concrete example of a stochastic process with noise and analyze its behavior using software such as the R language.
