Using nerve cells as a subject, students will learn the fundamentals of modeling natural phenomena and understanding them through computer simulations.

In our comprehensive research, we broadly study "information processing performed by living organisms," setting individual themes through discussion and conducting research accordingly. Our research themes to date can be broadly categorized into simulations of neural networks, psychophysical research on sensory perception, and psychophysical research on motor control.
