Development of intelligent and unique web services/smartphone apps
■Information Science Seminar IA/IIA (3rd year, first semester)
Development of web and Android applications for smartphones and tablets.
First, you will learn how to create web applications for smartphones and tablets.
Web applications run in a browser, so they have the advantage of running on iPhones, Android devices, and Windows tablets all with a single application.
Next, we will learn how to create native Android apps.
While native Android apps won't run on iPhones or Windows, they can be published worldwide on Google Play and receive ratings.
■Information Science Seminar IB/IIB (3rd year, second semester)
Developing new and useful original apps
Each participant will devise an original project and create a project proposal and specifications.
We will actually create the app based on that project proposal and specifications.
In the final class, each student will give a presentation on their completed project.
