■Research Themes
Geometry using linear algebra, discrete geometry, geometry of curves and surfaces
■Information science seminar (3rd year)
We will choose topics from modern affine and projective geometry using linear algebra, discrete geometry using group theory, and differential geometry of curves and surfaces, and learn the fundamentals of each.
During the exercise session, we will read through the text in a group discussion format. Presenters are expected to dedicate ample time to preparation.
■ Comprehensive Research (4th year students)
Based on what you learned in the Information Science Exercises, you will each choose a topic and conduct more in-depth research.
You will be required to plan and learn independently, and not only provide rigorous proof but also explain it concisely.
