This exercise covers the fundamentals of robot vision. Robot vision involves using machines to replicate the functions of the human eye and brain. While cutting-edge research in this field is extremely complex and advanced, this exercise allows you to write your own programs and get a glimpse into its basic principles. We will be working with not only still images but also real-world video using a webcam.

Our comprehensive research primarily focuses on robot control based on image information, but we are also conducting research on the following themes:
- Basic research on dribbling by soccer robots
- Expressing "emotions" through dancing robots
- Research on collaborative work by groups of mini-robots
- Research on the application of contactless IC cards (industry-academia collaborative research)
