■Research Themes
- Elucidating the mechanisms of information reception in living organisms
- Protein, gene, and other information sciences
■Information science seminar (3rd year)
In the Information Science Exercises, you will learn the fundamentals essential for conducting biological experiments, including observation methods, handling of reagents, biomacromolecules such as DNA and proteins, and the ability to work with information about these molecules.
■ Comprehensive Research (4th year students)
In our comprehensive research, we will conduct research on gene analysis (bioinformatics) based on genomic information (gene databases), the exploration of sensory receptors (proteins, genes) using insects as materials, and behaviors based on various types of information (such as search behaviors for smell, color, and sound).
