For all students enrolled in faculties and departments that will cease accepting new students, we will ensure that they maintain their affiliation with their chosen department and the educational environment there until graduation. We, the faculty and staff, will also fulfill our responsibility to provide support for their student life, career paths, and job placement.

Learn about people and nature, health and welfare, and society and industry.

How can people interact with nature and industry, and how can health and welfare issues be resolved to create livable communities? At university, students learn the fundamental academic disciplines, knowledge, and skills necessary to solve these problems, and then gain practical experience applying them in real-world settings. By understanding the importance of "immersing oneself in a community, thinking, and acting," students aim to become professionals with a broad perspective and specialized knowledge capable of providing solutions and proposals tailored to specific situations.

Specialized fields

People and Nature
Students will learn about the relationship between the local community and nature, including the coexistence of people and nature, the environment, land use that makes use of natural conditions, disaster preparedness, and lifestyle and culture.
Health and Well-being
Students will learn about health and welfare that supports the community, including how to promote the health of residents, the connection between professional sports and the community, the challenges and direction of welfare policies, and how to create cities that are friendly to the elderly.
Society and Industry
We will look at coastal towns, rural areas, shopping districts, and local industries, and learn about the relationship between the characteristics of each region and the people who live there.
