Here are some short-term study abroad programs (August-September) available during the 2026 summer vacation. Please see below for the application schedule.

• Date and Time: Thursday, April 16th, 15:10 - 17:00
• Location: Hoy Memorial Hall, 3rd Floor, Tsuchitoi Campus, Rooms H301, H302, H305-H307, H309, H310

No registration is required for the information session. Please come directly on the day of the event. Parents are also welcome to attend.
Details of the program information session will be announced on the International Exchange News page and MYTG.

   *As of May 7th (Thursday), applications for the Philippines (Cebu Island) and Malta tours organized by HIS Co., Ltd. cannot be submitted via the application form.

2. Download the "Tohoku Gakuin University Short-Term Study Abroad Pledge Form (Sponsored by Travel Agency)" below, fill it out, affix your seal, and submit it to the International Exchange Division.

England (Bournemouth)	English Language Training in the UK x Volunteer Program (Beet Language School) (PDF)	Departure on August 15th (Saturday) Choose from 2 weeks or 3 weeks. Saturday, June 20th	You will study English through 15 hours of lessons per week while participating in volunteer activities 1 to 3 times a week. Accommodation: Homestay
Australia	Summer Language Training Program (Inforum Education) (PDF)	Departure on August 15th (Saturday) Two weeks, three weeks, Choose from 4 weeks Sunday, May 31st	We offer general English courses (10 levels) and IELTS courses. Those with intermediate or higher levels can choose the IELTS course. Comprehensive support is provided by Japanese staff. Accommodation: Homestay
Singapore	English or Chinese language training (EF Singapore) (PDF)	Departure on August 16th (Sunday) Two weeks, three weeks, Choose from 4 weeks May 8th (Friday) 15:00	The General Course (up to 15 levels) offers not only foundational language studies but also project sessions, special electives, and lectures. With a large number of students from Europe, there are ample opportunities for student exchange through various events. Accommodation: Homestay
Spain (Alcala)	Spanish Language Training (Alcalía, University of Alcalá) (PDF)	August 22nd (Sat) - September 13th (Sun) Friday, May 29th, 17:00	You will learn Spanish at the Spanish Language Training Institute affiliated with the University of Pualcalá. Many students from other universities participate in this program. Complete beginners who want to learn Spanish from scratch are also welcome. Paid activities such as watching soccer matches are also available. Accommodation: Choose between homestay or dormitory.
Philippines (Baguio)	Language training x elementary school visit program (Baguio JIC) (PDF)	August 23rd (Sunday) - September 5th (Saturday) Thursday, May 14th	Since there are many one-on-one lessons, you can learn at your own level and pace. During the program, you will visit a local elementary school for two days to participate in international exchange through Japanese culture. Accommodation: Dormitory
* Philippines (Cebu Island)	Philippines Cebu Island Internship Program (PDF)	August 15th (Sat) - August 29th (Sat) Friday, May 15th	Students will gain internship experience at various companies, schools, and facilities on Cebu Island. There are eight courses to choose from, including one at Cebu International Airport, designed for students aiming for careers in the aviation industry. Accommodation: Hotel
* Republic of Malta (Saint Julian's)	Short-term study abroad program in Malta (ESE*) (PDF)	Departure on August 15th (Saturday) 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, Choose from 4 weeks Friday, May 15th	Learn English in the multicultural environment of Malta, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The school has a café, providing opportunities for international students to interact, and there are plenty of weekend activities (for a fee). Accommodation: Choose between homestay or dormitory.
