Philosophy/purpose

Based on the mission of engineering to develop information and communication engineering technologies that form the foundation of society and apply them to the welfare of humanity, this program cultivates engineers who can pioneer the future in the rapidly changing field of ICT (Information Communication Technology) by thoroughly studying these principles from the basics of mathematics.

Educational goals

The education in the Department of Department of Information Technology aims to achieve the following:

  1. Acquire the necessary ethical standards and fundamentals of natural science for information and communications engineers
  2. Enhancement of basic knowledge of information and communication technology through practical-oriented learning
  3. Two specialized subject groups, "Information Engineering Subjects" and "Communication Engineering Subjects," have been prepared, and technical skills will be acquired through the establishment of courses such as the "Information Security Expert Course," "Data Scientist Course," and "Information and Communication Professional Course."
  4. Developing technical skills through "exercise-oriented lectures" and "PBL (Project Based Learning)" in the Active Learning Studio

  1. Applicants must possess the basic high school level mathematics skills necessary for studying in this department.
  2. They have a strong interest in the IT field and are eager to acquire knowledge in related areas.
