Integrated middle school, high school, and university education program
In 2003, Tohoku Gakuin Educational Corporation established the "Tohoku Gakuin Junior High School, High School, and University Integrated Education Conference" to discuss integrated education within its junior high schools, high schools (Tohoku Gakuin High School, Tohoku Gakuin Tsutsujigaoka High School), and university.
Subsequently, in order to build a closer relationship and ensure the smooth implementation of the project, an agreement concerning the integrated junior high, high school, and university education program was concluded in fiscal year 2011.
This initiative aims to promote integrated education from junior high school through university by implementing projects for students, pupils, and faculty members through mutual cooperation and collaboration. Based on the educational philosophy rooted in Tohoku Gakuin's founding principles, it seeks to produce attractive individuals with strong character, intellect, and academic ability, and to contribute to society.
Specifically, we will be carrying out the following collaborative projects:
- Mutual exchange and support among students, pupils, and faculty members in classes, extracurricular activities, etc.
- Pre-enrollment education and post-enrollment guidance and support for TG recommended students, etc.
- Survey on the learning situation of students who advance from Tohoku Gakuin High School and Tohoku Gakuin Tsutsujigaoka High School to Tohoku Gakuin University, and students after enrollment.
- Research, discussion, and cooperation regarding career guidance and academic awareness for Tohoku Gakuin University.
- Research and discussion on curriculum related to integrated education and recognition of credits already earned before enrollment.
- Other matters necessary regarding the integrated middle school, high school, and university education program.
- A signing ceremony for an agreement concerning an integrated middle school, high school, and university education program was held (July 7, 2011).
