Master's Program in Business Administration

Philosophy/purpose

Based on Christian character education, we teach the theory and application of management studies and cultivate research capabilities in specialized fields, thereby fostering a wide range of human resources including researchers, teachers, professionals, and business people, and contributing to the progress of society.

1. In addition to training researchers and educators, we also cultivate professionals with advanced expertise in business management (accounting specialists) and management skills (business managers).
2. We support research topics for those who are trying to theorize their experiences, those who have problems that need to be solved, and those who are trying to develop their own careers.

Educational goals

Under the guidance of a primary and secondary supervisor, the following education will be provided to impart broad academic knowledge and cultivate the abilities necessary for highly specialized occupations or research capabilities in one's field of specialization.

1. In the process of completing a master's thesis, students acquire advanced specialized knowledge.
2. Develop the ethics, vision, and problem-solving skills necessary for business leaders and organizational managers.
3. Through a broad understanding of various fields and a grasp of fundamental concepts gained from classical literature, students systematically learn management theory.

Features

This program aims not only to cultivate researchers and educators, but also to train professionals with advanced specialized knowledge (such as business professionals and accounting specialists). Through a practical curriculum, we cultivate individuals who can solve concrete problems tailored to the realities of local businesses, and who can build a vision for the future of businesses, as well as the industrial economy and local communities. Specifically, we focus on training business successors, entrepreneurs, corporate executives with specialized knowledge, tax accountants, certified public accountants, small and medium-sized enterprise consultants, researchers (teachers) such as university professors, high school teachers, and civil servants, and have produced many professionals in the Tohoku region, mainly in Miyagi Prefecture.

Furthermore, regarding the Certified Public Tax Accountant (CPA) qualification, if you meet the prescribed requirements in this program and write a Master's thesis on tax law, you may be exempt from some subjects in the CPA examination (see Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the CPA Act). This program accepts many Graduate Schools under the supervision of multiple faculty members.
