Degree awarding policy

Applicable to students entering in the 2024 academic year and beyond.

Graduate School of Business Administration awards the degree of "Master of Business Administration" to those who, in the Master's program, acquire the required number of credits in accordance with the prescribed study method, receive the necessary research guidance, and are deemed to have achieved the following learning outcomes through the examination of their submitted Master's thesis and final examination.

1. Possesses a broad perspective, fundamental knowledge, and critical thinking skills in business administration.
2. They possess specialized and academically valuable knowledge on research topics related to business administration.
3. Possesses the necessary knowledge, skills, and awareness as a researcher to conduct academic research in business administration and to publish its results.

Up to students entering in the 2023 academic year

Graduate School of Business Administration awards the degree of "Master of Business Administration" to those who, in the Master's program, acquire 30 credits in accordance with the prescribed curriculum regulations, receive the necessary research guidance, and whose master's thesis is reviewed and who have demonstrated the following learning outcomes through the final examination.

1. Possesses a broad perspective, fundamental knowledge, and critical thinking skills in business administration.
2. They possess specialized and academically valuable knowledge on research topics related to business administration.
3. Possesses the necessary knowledge, skills, and awareness as a researcher to conduct academic research in business administration and to publish its results.

Curriculum Development and Implementation Policy

Applicable to students entering in the 2024 academic year and beyond.

In order to achieve the learning outcomes stipulated in the degree awarding policy, the Graduate Graduate School of Business Administration organizes and implements a systematic and sequential curriculum in the Master's program according to the following policies.

1. The primary objective of achieving learning outcome 1, as defined in the degree awarding policy, is to offer "General Lectures" and "Applied Lectures" in the first year.
2. With the primary objective of achieving learning outcomes 2 and 3 as defined in the degree awarding policy, "Seminars" are offered from the first year, along with necessary research guidance.
3. In research guidance, students will develop the skills necessary to become researchers through oral presentations and the writing of their master's theses.

Graduate School of Business Administration accepts applicants for its Master's program after confirming the following points.

1. Applicants must possess a motivation for admission and a research topic that aligns with the objectives of this course, namely (1) to (3) the development and retraining of human resources.
   1. Professionals in business management (certified public accountants, tax accountants, etc.)
   2. Professionals with advanced expertise in business management (government employees, corporate employees, teachers, organization staff, etc.)
   3. Researchers in business administration
2. They possess the general academic ability necessary for studying in this course.
3. They possess the necessary level of specialized knowledge in business administration for the studies required in this course.
