Tohoku Gakuin University General Sports Camp Facility Usage Regulations

(Purpose)
Article 1
- This regulation, based on the provisions of Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Tohoku Gakuin Educational Corporation General Sports Ground Management Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "Management Regulations"), stipulates the necessary matters concerning the use of the Tohoku Gakuin Educational Corporation General Sports Ground Training Facilities (hereinafter referred to as the "Training Facilities").
(facility)
Article 2
- The training camp facility shall include the following facilities:
- Locker room
- Shower room
- Teachers' and instructors' lounge
- Training room
- bathroom
- dining room
- Guest rooms
(Usage Procedure)
Article 3
- When using the training camp facilities, you must follow the necessary procedures according to the following usage categories.
- Regular physical education
- extracurricular activities
- Use by students, pupils, kindergarten children (hereinafter referred to as "students, etc.") and faculty and staff belonging to schools established by Tohoku Gakuin Educational Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Corporation").
- Other use by external persons as deemed necessary by the Tohoku Gakuin Educational Foundation's General Sports Ground Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as "the Committee").
- If any of the conditions in items 1 and 2 of the preceding paragraph apply, a Tohoku Gakuin University Athletic Association Training Camp Facility Use Application (hereinafter referred to as the "Training Camp Facility Use Application") must be submitted to the Student Affairs Division of the Student Affairs Department (hereinafter referred to as the "Student Affairs Division") at least two weeks before the day of use of the training camp facility, and permission must be obtained.
- If the conditions in paragraph 1, item 3 apply, a request for use of the training camp facilities must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office at least three weeks before the day of use, and permission must be obtained.
- If the conditions in paragraph 1, item 4 apply, a request for use of the training camp facilities must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office between two months and three weeks before the date of use, and permission must be obtained.
(Usage fees and payment methods)
Article 4
- Those who have been granted permission to use the training camp facilities pursuant to the preceding article must pay the usage fee specified in the following paragraph to the Finance Department's Finance Division by the designated method.
- Usage fees already paid will not be refunded.
- The usage fees for the training camp facilities are as follows:
- The charge for students and faculty members is 230 yen per night.
- The fee for non-university users is 500 yen per night.
(Capacity)
Article 5
- The training facility has a capacity of 127 people, and the capacity of each room is as follows:
- Room 1 (3rd floor): 18 people
- Room 2 (3rd floor): 18 people
- Room 3 (3rd floor): 18 people
- Room 4 (3rd floor) - 8 people
- Room 5 (3rd floor) - 5 people
- Room 6 (2nd floor): 30 people
- Room 7 (2nd floor): 30 people
(Period of consecutive stays)
Article 6
- The maximum period of consecutive stay at the training facility is two weeks.
(Entry and exit times)
Article 7
- The reception hours for the training camp facility office on the first and last days of use are as follows:
- Admission hours: 2 PM to 5 PM
- Exit reception hours: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
(Guidance management)
Article 8
- For students using the training camp facilities, the physical education teacher is responsible for supervising and managing instruction during the course.
- For uses other than those described above, the person responsible for submitting the application for use of the training camp facility will be the one responsible.
(Use prohibited)
Article 9
- The Dean of Students will prohibit the use of the dormitory facilities if any of the following circumstances occur:
- If the hospital sets a closure period for its training facilities during the summer or winter holidays
- Access to the training camp facilities may be restricted due to hospital events, etc.
- When facility use is restricted due to repairs, equipment inspections, regular cleaning, etc.
- If electricity, water, gas, etc. are unavailable due to a disruption.
- If measures are taken to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, etc. within the university.
- In the event of severe weather such as typhoons, heavy snow, or storms, or in the event of a major disaster such as an earthquake...
- In the case of the previous issue, or for other reasons, if it is highly likely that the user will have difficulty returning home.
- If an incident or accident occurs within the training facility and access is restricted due to the need for safety checks, investigations, etc.
- Due to a system failure, it may be difficult to check the usage status and reservation status of the training camp facilities.
- In addition, if the Student Affairs Director deems the use of the training camp facilities inappropriate for reasons other than those mentioned above.
- Even if permission to use the training camp facilities is granted, if any of the rules specified in the following article are violated, the permission may be revoked at the discretion of the Student Affairs Director.
(Requirements to be observed)
Article 10
- Users of the training camp facilities must comply with the following matters and follow the instructions of the supervisor responsible for guidance and management based on Article 8, Paragraph 1 or 2.
- Do not use it for any purpose other than the one specified in the application.
- In shared spaces, users are responsible for maintaining cleanliness.
- Do not intentionally damage or improperly use any equipment, furnishings, or machinery within the training camp facilities.
- All equipment used must be returned to its original condition.
- Do not allow third parties to use the training camp facilities.
- Refrain from engaging in any conduct that may disrupt public order or harm public morals.
- Do not operate fire alarms, emergency exits, or other fire safety equipment without permission. In an emergency, follow the instructions of staff and act calmly.
- To respect privacy and portrait rights, and to avoid disturbing other users, please refrain from unauthorized photography, recording, posting to social media, playing music at high volume, or watching videos.
- Do not drive your vehicle anywhere other than the designated area.
- Do not place any items that obstruct passage on evacuation routes.
- You must not engage in activities such as selling goods or soliciting donations without permission.
- Do not use open flames without permission.
- Do not cook your own meals using gas, electricity, etc., at the training camp facility.
- Do not drink alcohol, smoke, etc.
- Please refrain from speaking loudly, making loud noises, or engaging in any other behavior that may disturb other users.
- Do not enter the training facility with your shoes on.
- Do not bring in items that violate the Firearms and Swords Control Law, dangerous materials, etc.
- Do not bring animals (pets).
- The safekeeping of valuables is the responsibility of the user.
- Please follow any other instructions from the Student Affairs Office.
(Cancellation or suspension of use of the permit)
Article 11
- The Dean of Students may revoke permission to use the training camp facilities if the user falls under any of the following categories.
- If a user of the training camp facility violates the management regulations or these regulations, or fails to comply with necessary management instructions.
- In addition, if an urgent reason arises that makes the use of the training camp facilities inappropriate.
(Disclaimer and Damages)
Article 12
- This institution shall not be held liable for any accidents that occur within the training facility, except in cases where the institution is found to have acted with intent or gross negligence.
- Any user who intentionally or negligently destroys or damages facilities, equipment, furnishings, etc., must compensate for the resulting damages.
(Matters not covered by these regulations)
Article 13
- In addition to what is stipulated in these regulations, the Student Affairs Director shall decide on any necessary matters concerning the use of the training camp facilities and report them to the committee.
(Administrative)
Article 14
- All matters related to these regulations will be handled by the Student Affairs Office.
(Revision/Abolition)
Article 15
- Any amendments or repeals of these regulations shall be made by the Board of Directors after deliberation by the Committee.
- Supplementary Provisions
- These regulations shall come into effect on December 1, 1980.
- Supplementary Provisions (April 1, 1989)
- These regulations shall be amended and come into effect on April 1, 1989.
- Supplementary Provisions (July 15, 1998)
- These regulations shall be amended and come into effect on July 15, 1998.
- Supplementary Provisions (Amended No. 49, May 22, 2019)
- These regulations shall come into effect on May 22, 2019 (Reiwa 1), and shall apply from April 1, 2019 (Heisei 31).
- Supplementary Provisions (Revised No. 210, March 18, 2020)
- These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 2026.
