Tohoku Gakuin University Community Center Usage Regulations

(Purpose)

Article 1
  1. These internal regulations, based on Article 9 of the Tohoku Gakuin University Community Center Regulations, stipulate the necessary matters concerning the use of the Tohoku Gakuin University Community Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center").

(Opening hours)

Article 2
  1. The center's opening hours are as follows. However, opening hours may be shortened during long holidays.
    1. Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
    2. Sundays, from 9am to 6pm

(Closed)

Article 3
  1. The center will be closed in the following cases:
    1. During worship time
    2. Other cases as deemed necessary by the university
Article 4
  1. In principle, use of the center during its closure is not permitted. However, this does not apply if permission is obtained from the Dean of Students through the Center Director (hereinafter referred to as "the Director").

(Procedures for using the facility)

Article 5
  1. When using the Center, if you intend to use any of the following facilities, you must fill out the prescribed application form at least three days prior to use and obtain permission from the Dean of Students through the head of the department.
    1. Multipurpose hall
    2. Conference room
    3. practice room
    4. Japanese-style room
    5. Atelier
    6. Audio Room
    7. studio
  2. The operating hours for the facilities listed in the preceding paragraph shall be as follows:
    1. Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 PM
    2. Sundays, from 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM

(Notice)

Article 6
  1. When posting notices within the center, you must notify the supervisor, obtain permission, and then post them in the designated location.
  2. The posting period will be 7 days.

(Prohibited matters)

Article 7
  1. The Center shall be used in accordance with its intended purpose, and in order to maintain order within the Center, the following actions are prohibited. However, this shall not apply if permission is obtained from the Dean of Students through the Head of the Department.
    1. The act of selling goods
    2. Activities such as soliciting donations of money or goods
    3. Distribution and posting of documents, leaflets, etc.
    4. Posting, advertising, or promotion outside of designated bulletin boards
    5. drinking
    6. Smoking outside of designated areas
    7. Bringing in weapons, dangerous materials, etc.
    8. Spikes and clogs
    9. Acts of commotion
    10. Actions that are contrary to the purpose of using the center.
    11. Any other act that violates the founding principles and regulations of this university.

(Use of open flames)

Article 8
  1. The use of open flames within the center is prohibited in principle. However, this restriction does not apply if permission is obtained from the Dean of Students through the head of the department.

(Damage, destruction, and loss)

Article 9
  1. If any building, ancillary facilities, furniture, or equipment within the center is soiled, damaged, or lost, the supervisor must be notified and instructions must be received.

(Cancellation or suspension of permission to use)

Article 10
  1. The Dean of Students may immediately revoke or suspend permission to use the facility if any of the following conditions apply:
    1. When you violate the regulations concerning the Center or any other instructions from the Dean of Student Affairs or staff members.
    2. When there is a risk of disrupting public order or discipline within the center.
    3. When there is a risk of soiling or damaging the building or its facilities.
    4. When other unavoidable circumstances arise.

(Compliance Requirements)

Article 11
  1. You must comply with these internal regulations and the instructions of the staff when using the center.

(Administrative)

Article 12
  1. All matters related to these regulations will be handled by the Student Affairs Division of the Student Services Department.

(Revision/Abolition)

Article 13
  1. Any revision or abolition of these internal regulations shall be carried out by the President after deliberation by the Center Management Committee and the Student Committee, and reported to the Board of Directors.
Supplementary Provisions
These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 1989.
Supplementary Provisions (April 1, 2007)
These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 2007.
Supplementary Provisions (July 1, 2011)
These regulations will be revised and come into effect on July 1, 2011.
Supplementary Provisions (Amended on January 25, 2017, No. 17)
These internal regulations shall come into effect on January 25, 2017, and shall apply from April 1, 2016.
Supplementary Provisions Supplementary Provisions (Revised No. 232, February 28, 2020)
These internal regulations will come into effect on February 28, 2023, and will apply from April 1, 2023.
