Regulations for the Use of Tohoku Gakuin University Sports Grounds, etc.

(Purpose)
Article 1
- These regulations, based on the Tohoku Gakuin Educational Corporation General Sports Ground Management Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "Management Regulations"), stipulate the necessary matters concerning the use of the Tohoku Gakuin Educational Corporation General Sports Ground (hereinafter referred to as the "General Sports Ground") and the Kasagami Sports Ground (hereinafter, both facilities are collectively referred to as the "General Sports Ground, etc.").
(Usage Procedure)
Article 2
- When using the general sports grounds, etc., you must follow the necessary procedures according to the usage category below.
- Events hosted by Tohoku Gakuin Educational Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Corporation")
- Regular physical education
- extracurricular activities
- Physical education activities by students, pupils, and kindergarten children (hereinafter referred to as "students, etc.") and faculty and staff belonging to the schools established by this institution.
- Use by external organizations that have concluded cooperation agreements with our institution.
- Other physical activities by non-students that the Tohoku Gakuin Educational Foundation's General Sports Ground Management Committee (hereinafter referred to as "the Committee") deems necessary.
- If the conditions in item 1 of the preceding paragraph apply, an application for use must be submitted to the Student Affairs Division of the Student Services Department (hereinafter referred to as "the Student Affairs Division") at least three months prior to the day of use of the sports grounds, etc., and permission must be obtained.
- If the conditions in paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 1 apply, an application for use must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office by the 20th of the month preceding the month in which the sports grounds, etc., will be used, and permission must be obtained.
- If the conditions in paragraph 1, item 4 apply, a request for use must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office at least three weeks before the day of use of the sports grounds, etc., and permission must be obtained.
- If the conditions in paragraphs 5 and 6 of Article 1 apply, an application for use must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office between two months and three weeks before the day of use of the sports grounds, etc., and permission must be obtained.
(Usage time)
Article 3
- The operating hours for the general sports grounds and other facilities shall be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, unless there are special circumstances.
(Use prohibited)
Article 4
- The Dean of Students will prohibit the use of the sports complex, etc., if any of the following circumstances occur:
- If the user does not follow the management regulations or the procedures stipulated in these regulations
- If the hospital designates a period for closing its facilities during the summer or winter holidays
- Access to the facility may be restricted due to hospital events, etc.
- When facility use is restricted due to repairs, equipment inspections, regular cleaning, etc.
- If electricity, water, gas, etc. are unavailable due to a disruption.
- In the event of severe weather such as typhoons, heavy snow, or storms, or in the event of a major disaster such as an earthquake...
- In the case of the previous issue, or for other reasons, if it is highly likely that the user will have difficulty returning home.
- When measures are taken to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, etc. within the university.
- When an incident or accident occurs at a sports complex or similar facility, and access is restricted due to the need for safety checks, investigations, etc.
- Due to a system failure, it may be difficult to check the usage status, reservation status, etc. of the sports complex, etc.
- In addition, if the Dean of Students deems the use of the sports complex, etc., to be inappropriate for any reason other than those mentioned above.
- Even if permission is granted to use the sports complex, etc., if any of the matters to be observed as stipulated in Article 5 are violated, the permission may be revoked at the discretion of the Dean of Students.
(Requirements to be observed)
Article 5
- Users of the sports complex and other facilities must comply with the following:
- The usage time specified at the time of application must be strictly adhered to.
- Do not use it for any purpose other than the one specified in the application.
- Do not intentionally damage or improperly use the facilities, equipment, or machinery of the sports complex or similar facilities.
- Efforts should be made to maintain the good condition of all facilities, including the general sports ground.
- All equipment used must be returned to its original condition.
- In shared spaces, users are responsible for maintaining cleanliness.
- Do not allow third parties to use the facilities.
- Refrain from engaging in any conduct that may disrupt public order or harm public morals.
- Do not operate fire alarms, emergency exits, or other fire safety equipment without permission.
- In an emergency, follow the instructions of the staff and act calmly.
- To respect privacy and portrait rights, and to avoid disturbing other users, please refrain from unauthorized photography, recording, posting to social media, playing music at high volume, or watching videos.
- Do not park vehicles without permission or drive into areas other than designated areas.
- Do not place any items that obstruct passage on roads or evacuation routes.
- You shall not engage in activities such as selling goods, providing services, or soliciting donations without permission.
- Do not distribute or post documents, or engage in advertising activities, without permission.
- Do not drink alcohol, smoke, etc.
- Please refrain from speaking loudly, making loud noises, or engaging in any other behavior that may disturb other users.
- Do not bring in items that violate the Firearms and Swords Control Law, dangerous materials, etc.
- Do not bring animals (pets).
- The safekeeping of valuables is the responsibility of the user.
- Please follow any other instructions from the Student Affairs Office.
(Use of open flames)
Article 6
- The use of fire in the sports complex and other areas is generally not permitted. However, this restriction does not apply if permission is obtained from the Dean of Students.
(Disclaimer and Damages)
Article 7
- This institution shall not be liable for any accidents that occur at the sports complex or other facilities, except in cases where the institution is found to have acted with intent or gross negligence.
- Any user who intentionally or negligently destroys or damages facilities, equipment, furnishings, etc., must compensate for the resulting damages.
(Matters not covered by these regulations)
Article 8
- In addition to what is stipulated in these regulations, the Dean of Students shall decide on any necessary matters concerning the use of the sports complex and other facilities, and report them to the committee.
(Administrative)
Article 9
- All matters related to these regulations will be handled by the Student Affairs Division of the Student Services Department.
(Revision/Abolition)
Article 10
- Any amendments or repeals of these regulations shall be made by the Board of Directors after deliberation by the Committee.
- Supplementary Provisions
- These regulations shall come into effect on October 1, 1980.
- Supplementary Provisions (April 1, 1989)
- These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 1989.
- Supplementary Provisions (April 1, 2008)
- These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 2008.
- Supplementary Provisions (Amended No. 48, May 22, 2019)
- These regulations shall come into effect on May 22, 2019 (Reiwa 1), and shall apply from April 1, 2019 (Heisei 31).
- Supplementary Provisions (Revised No. 209, March 18, 2020)

- These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 2026.
- For the fiscal year 2026, the term "smoking" in Article 5, paragraph 16 shall be read as "smoking in places other than designated areas."
