(the purpose)
Article 1
- This regulation, based on Article 32, Paragraph 2 of the Tohoku Gakuin Graduate Schools School Regulations, establishes the necessary matters concerning the handling of re-admission upon application for a doctoral degree for those who have withdrawn from the doctoral program (hereinafter referred to as the "doctoral program").
(Qualification)
Article 2
- Those eligible for readmission are individuals who have been enrolled in the doctoral program for three years or more, have completed the prescribed courses, or have received the necessary research guidance, and who have applied for and been approved for a doctoral degree within three years of withdrawing from the program.
(Time of re-enrollment)
Article 3
- The time for readmission will be at the beginning of the academic year.
(Period of enrollment for re-enrolled students)
Article 4
- The period of enrollment for re-enrolled students shall be as specified in the attached table, and the total period of enrollment in the later stages of the program, including both the period before and after re-enrollment, cannot exceed six years.
(Procedure period)
Article 5
- The period for re-enrollment procedures is from April 1st to June 30th.
(Tuition fee)
Article 6
- Students who are re-enrolled under these regulations must pay half of the degree examination fee stipulated in Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Tohoku Gakuin University Degree Regulations as a student enrollment fee.
(Review period)
Article 7
- If the re-enrollment procedure is initiated within the period specified in Article 5, the thesis examination must be completed within the academic year in which the procedure was initiated.
(Administrative)
Article 8
- All matters related to these regulations will be handled by Graduate Schools Division of the Academic Affairs Department.
(Revision/Abolition)
Article 9
- Any revision or repeal of these regulations shall be carried out by the President after deliberation by Graduate Schools Committee and subject to approval by the Board of Directors.
- Supplementary provisions
- These regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 1998.

- These regulations shall come into effect on January 30, 2019 (Heisei 31).
- Supplementary Provisions (Revised No. 157, June 7, 2020)
- These regulations will come into effect on June 7, 2023, and will apply from April 1, 2023.
- Supplementary Provisions (Revised No. 149, December 11, 2020)
- These regulations will come into effect on December 11, 2024, and will apply from April 1, 2024.
