Comprehensive hands-on classes

Department of Policy Design offers a variety of practical, hands-on courses to help students understand the diversity and complexity of real-world society, as well as to engage with the thinking and practices of pioneers who have tackled challenges.

Practical training reinforces theoretical learning while simultaneously enhancing empathy for social issues and fostering understanding and inquiry skills that go beyond generalities. Furthermore, we provide opportunities for practical application, where students can work with local governments, companies, NPOs, and other organizations to address challenges based on this knowledge. We value practical training in order to cultivate individuals who can contribute their abilities to society.
