I wanted to acquire many skills.

I was interested in the fact that it was a newly established department. I chose the Department of Inclusive Society and Economics because I thought I could acquire a wider range of skills by learning about social issues in Japan such as the declining birthrate, aging population, and pensions, as well as learning not only about economics but also about an inclusive Department of Co-existing Society Studies.

I hope to deepen my understanding of all the fields I can study in this department, and learn many things so that I can express my opinions with a broad perspective when I enter society.

Furthermore, I want to explore things that will connect to my future self through fieldwork and other activities. And I want to become a part of creating a society where local communities develop further and many people can coexist.

A valuable experience!

I feel like I'm having a valuable experience, talking to high school students at open campus events, being involved in creating department guides, and building the department together with my classmates and professors.

Sendai is a great place to live!

Many of my high school friends went to universities in Tokyo, but I thought Sendai was a better fit for me. Now that I've actually lived here, I can say that Sendai is a very comfortable place to live!
