For all students enrolled in faculties and departments that will cease accepting new students, we will ensure that they maintain their affiliation with their chosen department and the educational environment there until graduation. We, the faculty and staff, will also fulfill our responsibility to provide support for their student life, career paths, and job placement.

Distinctive subjects

Department of Co-existing Society Studies offers many courses that cover major topics currently making headlines in society, as well as unique courses specific to this department. Here are some examples.

In a social security lecture one day in October 2011, we discussed the issue of personnel for elderly care.

Aging Economics I & II

"Aging Economics" is a course that analyzes the relationship between the declining birthrate, aging population, and the economy and society using economic methods.

Inequality Theory I & II

The theory of inequality addresses various inequality issues observed in Japan and other parts of Asia.
